Convervatory in Ilkley

This property was located on the hillside below the Cow & Calf Rocks in Ilkley with limited access to the rear, therefore all excavation work had to be carried out by hand without the use of machinery. In excess of 40 Tonnes of garden soil, clay and bedrock was wheel barrowed from the rear to the front of the property – filling 6 large skips! Following the excavation works we created a stone retaining wall using some of the stone we uncovered during the digging out. The conservatory base was constructed using random walling sandstone and the top a mixture of uPVC framework and argon gas filled “blue glass”
