Garage Conversion

We are often asked to convert underutilised areas of a home into practical living spaces, and this is a classic example. The previous owners had converted the garage into a playroom but had left the garage door in situ. The new owner wanted to remove the garage door and have a stonewall built that matched the rest of the property along with a new window. The result was an additional living room for the family to use on a day-to-day basis.

Scope of work:

  • Submission of paperwork for building regulation approval
  • Removal of existing garage door
  • Creation of new internal block and external stone wall
  • Installation of uPVC window
  • Plasterboard and plaster internal walls
  • Skirting board and window cil fitted
